Place Value: the value of where the digit is in the number
Ones: first place from right to left.
Tens: second place from right to left.
Hundreds: third place from right to left.
Thousands: fourth place from right to left.
Ten thousands: fifth place from right to left.
Hundred thousands: sixth place from right to left.
Millions: seventh place from right to left.
Rounding: making a number simpler but keeping its value close to what it was.
Nearest: closest
Ordering: is to place the numbers in descending or ascending order
Ascending order: organize from the smallest to the greatest.
Descending order: organize from the greatest to the smallest.
Comparing: is to know if one number is the same as, or smaller than, or bigger than, another number
Equal (=): When two values are equal, we use the "equals" sign
