VOCABULARY

Division: the operation of dividing numbers to result in a quotient.
Quotient: the answer when dividing on a number into another.
Dividend: the number that is divided by another number.
Divisor: the number used to divide another number.
Remainder: the portion of the dividend that is not evenly divisible by the divisor.
Inverse operations: operations that are the opposite of each other, such as multiplication and division.
Bring down: to put down a number from the dividend.
Fit: When a number can be inside another number.
Goes into: fit
How many times: quantity of times.
